Seminar
International Compost Seminar
Learn the basics and important facts about compost and organic waste treatment and exchange ideas with like-minded people from all over the world at our annual compost seminar!
Composting is a biological process in which microorganisms, by adding bacterial food, water and oxygen, produce a product that we broadly refer to as humus. And like this, this topic would be sufficiently explained in 4 seconds.
In fact, many complex correlations are behind this topic, which open up a closely intertwined field of activity that we try to familiarise our seminar participants with: starting with the selection of raw materials, mixing ratios, process management and process control, plant design and regulatory issues, quality assurance through to the somewhat more complicated topics such as emissions management, mass, water and energy balances.
When sharing this knowledge, our experienced colleagues pay particular attention to the link between theory and practice. This is why the seminar is not only held in the seminar room, but also directly on a composting site, where practical exercises are carried out.
The full seminar program will be announced soon!
